10 Tips to Incorporate Your Favorite Team into Your Wedding
Football season is quickly approaching and it is easily one of our favorite seasons of the year! The crisp fall air, fall foliage, and pumpkin spice everything has us counting down until the first day of fall. Below are a few unique ways to incorporate your favorite team, or school’s color, into your wedding.
Bridesmaids Dresses
Is one of your favorite teams deep green or navy? Or maybe orange or red? You can dress the bridesmaids in the complementary color to your groomsmen and show off your favorite team colors this way! You can also incorporate colors into your flowers.

Groom’s Cake
Maybe it is spring and you feel like deep fall colors would not fit in to the blush bright colors of spring. Having a grooms cake that surprises the groom with a toast to his favorite team is a must, if he is into football. You can even have the inside dyed to the team’s colors so that the cake “bleeds” for the team too!

Having a Pom Pom Exit
We LOVE this idea! It is such a fun way to exit the wedding! What better way than to do it under your favorite school colors and having friends and family cheer you on as you start your new journey.

Escort Cards
You can have escort cards to look like tickets to the big game to lead your guests to their assigned tables. You could make the table numbers or names of your favorite players!
Name your Signature Drink After your Favorite Team
Instead of his and hers you could be creative and name them after your teams colors or a signature move like the Lambeau Leap or Between the Hedges for example.
The Accessories
There are so many little ways to incorporate your favorite team into the accessories such as the garter or monogrammed cuff links. Some groomsmen’s parties also do matching team socks.

Serve up some of your favorite stadium snacks or sliders during your cocktail hour. They can be served stadium style in cups or on plates with your teams logo or colors.

Have cookies made out in your favorite colors as your party favors. Late night snacks for your guests are always a hit!

Instead of having the “normal” guestbook, have guests sign your favorite players jersey! This way you can have it hanging in your own home and have it signed by all your closest friends and family!
